Philippe Ségalard spent his childhood in a small village in the Paris region. The rural world was the first experience. After working in various professions in the restaurant industry, he slowly came to painting while engaging in other activities, including extensive literary studies. It was at the age of 28 that he decided to devote his life fully to it. He then attended and studied in several workshops.
